Been to all sushi restaurants in this area and all are just okay. As for run of the mill typical sushi rolls, Maple doesn’t exactly stand out… However, Maple sushi keeps me coming back thanks to their Special Menu – if you’re willing to spend a few more dollars it is absolutely worth it. EVERY item is delicious and unique. ( Kirin Sushi in New West has the exact same Special Menu with same rolls so if you’ve been there before you’ll know what to expect from Maple Sushi =delicious )
Ive taken many friends here and order them rolls from the special menu and every one of them says its the best sushi they’ve had!

Be aware if you go for lunch and order from their Happy Choice Menu – the roll sizes are smaller than if you were to order off regular menu. IE: Dynamite Roll on Happy Choice Menu for lunch only has one prawn, if you order the Dynamite not using the Happy Choice, it has 2 prawns. Some people may be put off by this when ordering from this menu. The sushi roll sizes are typically smaller pieces because it is lunch time and its a CHEAP DEAL!

I am also picky with sashimi – however Maples is fresh and never partially frozen as some tuna comes.
